Will laser hair removal hurt?
Our machine uses a patented Dynamic Cooling Device (DCD) which sprays the skin with a cooling burst of Cryogen milliseconds before the laser pulse. DCD helps ensure maximum comfort during treatment.
What sort of gap do I need between laser hair removal treatments?
For facial treatments, a gap of 4 weeks is usually recommended between treatments. For body treatments, a gap of 4 to 6 weeks is recommended. This helps to catch the hair during the active stage of hair growth.
How does the laser hair removal work?
By sending a beam of laser light to a group of hair follicles, the laser technology causes selective heating to destroy the root while at the same time being safe for surrounding tissues.
Is laser hair removal safe and are there any side effects?
Laser based treatments have been safely used for many years for a variety of cosmetic procedures with minimal side effects. Your skin may be slightly red immediately following the procedure. This typically lasts for a few minutes to several hours after the procedure.
What preparation do I need before laser hair removal?
You need to shave the area to be treated 24 hours before your treatment session.
How long do laser hair removal treatments take and how many treatments will I require?

Treatment times may vary depending on your specific needs. Hair growth is reduced after each treatment, and the number of treatments required will be based on your hair density, colour and type, body area and skin tone.

Are results permanent?
Laser hair removal is designed to provide long term results. After 6 treatments you can see significant reduction in hair growth (70-90%). The hair that does grow back may be much finer and lighter than before treatment.
Is laser hair removal suitable for all skin types?

At our laser clinic, we use one of the most advanced laser machines available on the market. This is suitable for skin types I – VI, and is suitable for lighter and darker skin types. We can check the suitability for your individual skin type by performing a patch test in the clinic.

What is Pro Power Peel™ and when can it be used?
It is an effective skin resurfacing system that produces visible results without triggering adverse side effects which can be caused by aggressive chemical peels. It can be used for sun damaged skin, pigmented skin, or for reducing the appearance of acne scarring.
What is IonActive™ Treatment and when can it be used?
The IonActive™ Power Treatment uses the science of ionisation to drive the active ingredients faster and deeper into the skin. It may be used to treat the appearance of fine lines and for dehydrated and sensitive skin.
